Departments

Clinical services provided within the health department include WIC (Women, Infants & Children), MNT (Medical Nutrition Therapy), Vaccines, STD/HIV testing and/or treatment as needed, TB testing and case management, Lead case management, Hep B Perinatal case management, Mental Health education/promotion, and Harm Reduction education and support. These services are offered to promote health & wellness for our community.

The Environment team provides services to protect, promote, and improve the community’s health and the environment.

The Health Access Nurturing Development Services (HANDS) program is a voluntary home visitation program for new or expectant parents. HANDS supports families as they build healthy, safe environments for the optimal growth and development of children.

The Health Education team promotes healthy lifestyles, disease prevention, and health education to empower the community to live a better quality of life.

The Epidemiology program is responsible for the surveillance of reportable communicable diseases, other than TB, STD, and HIV/AIDS, including enteric diseases, vaccine-preventable diseases, invasive bacterial diseases, arthropod-borne diseases, and other diseases.

Preparedness Program is designed to implement active assessment, planning, organizing, equipping, training, exercise, and evaluation programs.
